Two kinds of Arabic, and which you need
Quranic Arabic is the classical language of the Quran. If your goal is to understand what you recite, this is the priority, and it is where most of our students focus.
Modern Standard Arabic is the shared formal language of the Arab world, used in news, books and formal speech. It is what you want if you plan to travel, study, or speak with Arabic-speaking family.
The two overlap substantially. Your tutor will help you choose a path in the first class rather than guessing on your behalf.
How we teach it
Language is learned by using it, so our classes are conversational from early on, even when vocabulary is small. Grammar is introduced as it becomes useful rather than as abstract tables to memorise.
All our Arabic tutors are native speakers with formal teaching qualifications, and they teach through English as needed. You will never be left lost in a class you cannot follow.
