More people need this than admit it
Plenty of adults who have prayed for years have quiet doubts: whether their wudu is valid, whether they are reciting a word correctly, what happens if they miss a position. Children pick up prayer by copying and often carry small mistakes for life. New Muslims frequently feel they are expected to already know.
This course removes the guesswork. Nothing is assumed, nothing is rushed, and no question is treated as too basic.
What we cover
- Wudu: the steps in order, what invalidates it, and the common mistakes
- The prayer itself: standing, bowing, prostration and sitting, with the correct number of units for each of the five prayers
- What is recited: Surah al-Fatihah, a set of short surahs, and every phrase of the prayer, with pronunciation corrected live
- What it means: a plain-English translation of everything you say, so the prayer becomes something you understand rather than only perform
- Practical questions: prayer times, praying while travelling, making up missed prayers, and praying at school or work
How it is taught
Live and one-to-one, like all our classes. Your tutor demonstrates, you follow, and corrections happen in the moment. For children, sessions are short and repetitive by design; for adults, they move at whatever pace you set.
The Arabic recitation is taught with the same care as our Quran reading courses, because the Fatihah recited in prayer deserves to be recited correctly.
