Built for children growing up in the West
Raising practising children in the USA, UK or Europe brings challenges that did not exist for previous generations. Your child may be the only Muslim in their class. They will have questions, and they deserve good answers.
This course gives them the practical foundations, taught in a way that builds confidence rather than anxiety about their faith.
What we cover
Classes move at your child’s pace, but broadly cover:
- Salah, including wudu, the positions, what is recited, and building the habit
- Everyday duas for before eating, sleeping, leaving home and travelling
- Stories of the Prophets, taught as stories, because that is how children remember
- Seerah, the life of the Prophet
- Character (Akhlaq), covering honesty, kindness to parents, and treating others well
Gentle, patient teaching
Our tutors are experienced with young children and understand that a seven-year-old’s attention has limits. Classes are 30 minutes, lively, and heavy on encouragement. Children are never shamed for forgetting something.
