Refund policy

Last updated 19 September 2026

We want families to stay because the teaching is good, not because leaving is hard. This policy sets out exactly when we refund fees.

Your first paid month

If, within the first 7 days of your first paid month, you decide the service is not right for you, we will refund the month in full. We ask only that you tell us why, so we can learn from it.

Classes we cancel

Any class cancelled by us or by your tutor is rescheduled at a time that suits you. If it cannot be rescheduled within the month, we credit it against your next payment or refund it, whichever you prefer.

Classes you miss

Classes rescheduled with at least 12 hours' notice are not lost. Classes missed without notice are not refunded, as the tutor has held the slot for you. We apply this reasonably where there has been a genuine emergency.

Cancelling mid-month

If you cancel part-way through a paid month, you can continue attending until the end of that month. We do not refund the unused portion, except in the circumstances above.

Pausing

If you need to pause, for travel, exams, Ramadan or anything else, tell us before your next payment date and we will not charge you until you are ready to resume. Where possible, we hold your tutor and slot.

Something has gone wrong

If you are unhappy with the quality of teaching, please tell us before requesting a refund. The most common fix is a change of tutor, which we arrange at no cost. Where a problem is genuinely ours and cannot be fixed, we will refund fairly.

How to request a refund

Email info@thequrantutors.com with the name on the account and a short explanation. We respond within 3 working days and process approved refunds to the original payment method within 10 working days.
