Terms of service

Last updated 19 September 2026

These terms apply when you book a trial class or enrol with The Quran Tutors("we", "us"). By enrolling, you agree to them. We have kept them short and readable because we would rather you understood them than skipped them.

1. What we provide

Live, one-to-one online Quran and related classes delivered by a tutor over video. Classes are scheduled at agreed weekly times. Where a student is a child, the parent or guardian is our customer and is responsible for the account.

2. The free trial

The trial is one full class at no charge and with no obligation. We do not take payment details to book it. If you do not continue, nothing further happens.

3. Enrolment and payment

After the trial, you choose a monthly plan. Fees are payable monthly in advance in the currency shown on our pricing page. There is no joining fee and no minimum term. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice; changes never apply to a month you have already paid for.

4. Scheduling and missed classes

You keep the same weekly slot with the same tutor. If you need to miss a class, tell your tutor at least 12 hours in advance and it will be rescheduled at no cost. Classes missed without notice are not refunded or rescheduled, though we apply this with common sense for genuine emergencies.

If your tutor is unavailable, we provide a qualified substitute or reschedule. Classes we cancel are always made up or credited.

5. Pausing and cancelling

You may pause or cancel at any time by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for. Refunds are governed by our refund policy.

6. Changing tutor

If the tutor is not the right fit, tell us and we will arrange a trial with another. There is no charge for this.

7. Conduct

We ask students and families to treat tutors with courtesy, and we hold tutors to the same standard. We may end an enrolment where conduct makes teaching impossible; you may end yours for the same reason. Classes must not be recorded or shared without the tutor's agreement, and tutors do not record classes without yours.

8. Safeguarding

Parents may sit in on any class. Tutors teaching children complete safeguarding training. If you ever have a concern about a class, contact us immediately at info@thequrantutors.com.

9. Materials

Lesson materials we provide are for the enrolled student's personal use and remain our property or that of their publishers.

10. Our responsibility

We will provide the classes with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for problems caused by your internet connection or devices, and we cannot guarantee a particular rate of progress, which depends heavily on the student's practice between classes. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Quran Tutors is registered. Nothing in them affects statutory consumer rights you have where you live.
