Why Noorani Qaida comes first
Almost every difficulty an adult has with Quran recitation traces back to a rushed beginning. Letters that sound similar to an English speaker are entirely distinct in Arabic, and the difference changes meaning. Learning them properly once is far easier than correcting them years later.
Noorani Qaida is the traditional primer used across the Muslim world for exactly this reason. It introduces the alphabet in a deliberate order, building from single letters to joined words to full verses, so nothing is skipped.
How our classes work
Every class is one-to-one and live. Your tutor hears each letter you produce and corrects it immediately, which is something no app or recording can do. Most students begin with two or three 30-minute classes a week.
Younger children respond best to shorter, more frequent sessions, and our tutors are experienced at keeping them engaged with repetition, encouragement and patience.
What progress looks like
A committed beginner typically completes Noorani Qaida in three to six months, depending on age and class frequency. Children often move faster than parents expect. You will receive a written progress report each month so you can see exactly what has been covered and what comes next.
From here, most students move directly into Quran reading with Tajweed.
