For children
Quran classes built for children
Children do not learn like adults. A seven-year-old cannot sit through a forty-minute lecture, will not admit when they are lost, and will quietly decide the Quran is boring if the first experience is a chore. Our children’s classes are built around how children actually learn: short, one-to-one, patient, and encouraging.

Short classes, more often
For younger children we recommend 30-minute classes several times a week rather than one long session. Attention is fresh, material stays familiar between classes, and the routine forms quickly. Older children and teenagers can move to longer sessions as they are ready.
Tutors who are good with children specifically
Knowing the Quran and being able to keep a six-year-old engaged are different skills. We match children with tutors who have real experience with their age group and who teach with repetition, praise and games rather than pressure. Every tutor working with children completes safeguarding training.
Parents are welcome in every class
You can sit in on any class, and for younger children we encourage it. You see exactly how your child is being taught, and your child feels supported rather than sent off alone. Classes run on standard video platforms under your control.
What children typically start with
Most children begin with Noorani Qaida, learning the letters and sounds, and progress to reading with Tajweed. Children with fluent reading can move into Hifz. Alongside any of these, Islamic Studies covers prayer, duas and the stories of the Prophets.

Common questions
What age can my child start?
From around four, depending on the child. The trial class is the best way to find out: the tutor will tell you honestly whether your child is ready or whether waiting a few months would serve them better.
My child is shy. Will they be pushed?
No. One-to-one classes are actually easier for shy children than group settings, because there is nobody to compare themselves to. Our tutors are patient, and you can sit in until your child is comfortable.
How do I know my child is actually progressing?
You receive a written progress report each month setting out what was covered and what improved. If something is not working, we tell you early rather than let it drift.
